Heritage Lens

Hello, I'm Björn Schacht — a photographer with roots in both Germany and Mauritius. My father is German, my mother is Mauritian, and I've always felt the pull of these two beautiful worlds.

Photography started as a passion in Germany, capturing the raw beauty of nature. But my heart has always belonged to Mauritius — the island where my mother's family comes from, where turquoise waters meet golden sands, and where every sunset tells a story.

Now, I'm turning my dream into reality: building a life and career in Mauritius with my future wife. Through my lens, I want to capture the magic of this island — from luxury villas and romantic engagements to the stunning landscapes that make Mauritius paradise on Earth.

Whether you're a local business, a couple in love, or a property owner looking to showcase your space — I'd be honored to tell your story through my photography.
